The rocket, standing 14-1/5 inches tall, is the highlight of this set. The payload compartment has the ability to hold either an astronaut or a satellite, both of which can be loaded into the rocket using the manually operated elevator.

The launch platform has quite a bit of detail, including a manual countdown board that goes from three to zero.
